About the Role
Corrosion Armor is seeking an experienced Sandblaster / Abrasive Blaster to join our industrial coatings team. This role involves surface preparation for steel and concrete structures in demanding industrial and infrastructure environments. Key Responsibilities

Perform abrasive blasting to industry standards (SSPC / NACE)
Prepare steel and concrete surfaces for protective coatings
Set up, operate, and maintain blasting equipment
Select and handle abrasive media appropriately
Perform containment, cleanup, and waste handling
Follow all site safety procedures and company policies
Work outdoors and in confined or industrial environments
Coordinate with painters, supervisors, and inspectors
Required Qualifications

Experience in abrasive blasting / sandblasting (industrial preferred)
Knowledge of SSPC surface preparation standards (SP-6, SP-10, etc.)
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Physically fit for manual labor
Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license
Ability to travel to job sites as required
Preferred Qualifications (But Not Required)

Industrial coatings experience
WHMIS, Working at Heights, Confined Space
NACE / SSPC familiarity
Vacuum blasting or specialty surface prep experience
